Data collected through Shopify integration

When you install Proofdy through Shopify, we collect:

  • Shop information: Store name, email, domain.
  • Order data: Customer names, locations, and purchase information (used only to display social proof notifications).
  • Product data: Product names and images (for displaying in widgets).
  • Important: We do NOT store customer payment information (credit cards, etc.). All payments are processed directly by Shopify.

Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share it with:

  • Our payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Shopify) for transaction processing.
  • Analytics and hosting services, to ensure the secure and reliable operation of our platform.

  • After account deletion: All personal data is permanently deleted within 48 hours (except payment records required for legal/tax purposes, kept for 7 years).

Shopify app uninstallation

If you uninstall the Proofdy app from Shopify:

  • We will receive a notification from Shopify within 48 hours.
  • All your shop data will be **automatically deleted** from our systems.
  • You can request immediate deletion by contacting office@proofdy.io

We use cookies to:
