Please read these terms before using our service. By accessing or using Proofdy, you agree to the rules below.

What we offer

Proofdy.io provides Social Proof and FOMO widgets for your website, available under a monthly or yearly subscription.

Shopify app integration

  • Proofdy integrates with Shopify stores via official Shopify API.
  • Installation requires granting permissions to access: orders, products, and customer data (used ONLY for social proof widgets).
  • You can revoke access at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin.
  • Uninstalling triggers automatic deletion of your data within 48 hours.

Registration and account

  • To use the service, you need an account with accurate information (name, email, password).
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure and not sharing your login details.

Subscriptions and payments

  • The service is paid, based on a subscription.
  • All payments are processed securely through our providers (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
  • Subscriptions renew automatically, but you can cancel at any time from your account.

Refund and cancellation policy

  • Free trial: 7-day free trial on all plans (no charge during trial).
  • Cancellation: Cancel anytime from your account - no questions asked.
  • Refunds: Refunds available within 14 days of purchase if you're not satisfied.
  • No refunds after 14 days or if services have been actively used.
  • Automatic renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal date.

Fair use

  • You may not use Proofdy for illegal or deceptive activities.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service.

Intellectual property

  • The platform, design, and code of Proofdy.io are our property and may not be copied without our written consent.
  • The content you display through the widgets remains your property.

Your data ownership

  • Your customer data remains YOURS - we only process it on your behalf.
  • We do not sell or share your customer data with third parties.
  • You can export your data at any time from your Proofdy dashboard.
  • Upon account deletion, we delete all your data permanently within 48 hours.

Limitations of liability

  • We do our best to provide a stable service, but we do not guarantee 100% error-free or uninterrupted operation.
  • Proofdy.io is not liable for direct or indirect losses caused by the use of the platform.

Service availability

  • We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
  • We are not liable for losses caused by downtime or technical issues beyond our control.

Changes to these Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time.
  • We will notify you by email or publish updates on the site at least 30 days before changes take effect.
  • Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept the new terms.
  • If you disagree with changes, you may cancel your account before they take effect.
